Authenticity guarantee

At Melrose Vintage, integrity is our cornerstone. We meticulously inspect every archival find, examining the creed, hardware, finish, and zippers to ensure complete accuracy. Alongside our expert internal verification process, we partner with reputable second-party authenticators for absolute peace of mind. Formal third-party certificates are also available upon request at cost. Every item in our collection is backed by a full authenticity guarantee or refund, as maintaining the trust of our clients is our highest priority.

Condition & Care

As our collection features pre-loved archival treasures, some natural signs of age and wear are to be expected. We view all provided product photography as a vital part of the item's physical description; we encourage you to review them carefully to understand the unique patina of each piece. Please be aware that screen calibrations may impact color representation.

Sales Policy

Given the exclusive nature of our historical archive, all sales are final. Returns are only permitted if an item is significantly different from its description or or if it is proven inauthentic by a valid third-party certificate. For transparency, we film a detailed condition video of every piece before shipping. Removing the Melrose security tag voids all return eligibility. We provide free professional authentication for orders over $595 AUD; for items below this value, an optional verification service is available for $50 AUD via our catalog. All authenticity claims must be accompanied by a formal certificate to be eligible for a return.

Shipping & Delivery

Standard shipping orders are generally delivered within 3–10 business days after dispatch, while express postage typically arrives within 1–3 business days, subject to carrier timelines and your specific location. Items purchased on pre-order will be dispatched according to the timeframe noted in their specific product details. If your purchase contains a mix of ready-to-ship and pre-order items, the entire order will be held and shipped together once all pieces are available.

Customs & Duties

Orders shipped internationally may be subject to local import duties, taxes, or administration fees upon arrival in your country. These state-mandated charges are the responsibility of the buyer and cannot be calculated or pre-paid by Melrose Vintage at the point of sale.

Restock request

If the piece you would like has sold, you can submit a restock request. If we’re able to source it again, we’ll email you with availability and the current price and send an invoice if you’d like to proceed. Prices may vary depending on stock availability and condition. To request a restock, click the item you want, select “Restock notification”, and enter your email address.
